root 3=a/b

square both side

root 3squre =a square/b square

3b square =a square

a square is divisible by 3

a is also divisible by 3

when,

m is some integer

root 3 = m/a

squaring both sides

m square is divisible by 3

m is also divisible by 3

so , root 3 is irrational number
