Prove that 4 sin ^2 30degree +tan^2 60degree +sec^2 45degree=6.

SOLUTION

L.H.S

=) 4sin^2 30°+ tan^2 60°+ sec^2 45°

=) 4(sin 30°)^2+(tan 60°)^2+ (sec 45°)^2

=) 4×(1/2)^2 + (3)^2 + (2)^2

=) 4× 1/4 +3+ 2

=) 1+3+2

=) 6 = R.H.S
