let assumed 5+√3 is an rational number

5t√3 = p/q

take √5 in first side .

√3= p/q - 7

Now u take lcm of p/q and 7

√3= p/q - 7 /1

and it's become

√3= p-7q/ q

.then

p-7q/q is an rational number

so..

5+√3 is an irrational number ..
