let /5 + /3 be rational
/5 + /3 = a/b ( where a and b are integer and co - prime )
/5 =a/b - /3

here a and b are integer but it is contradiction because we know /5 is irrational

dear you can also prove /3 as irrational

=> /5 = root 5
/3 = root 3
