7 +  3 \sqrt{2 }  = p \div q \\ 3 \sqrt{2}   =  \frac{p - 7q}{q}  \\  \sqrt{2}  =  \frac{p - 7q}{3q}
p-7q and 3q are integrr but our contradiction is wrong so 7+3root2 is irrational
