consider two triangles , triangle ABC and triangle ADC .
In triangle ABC and triangle ADC
AB||CD and Ac is transversal.
so Angle1= angle 2 ( alternate )
BC||AD and Ac is transversal .
so angle 3 = angle 4 ( alternate )
and AC = AC ( common )
so triangle ABC is congruent to triangle ADC .
