Assuming

ΔABC

  • DE║BC
  • D is mid point of AB

To Prove :

⇒ E is the mid point of AC

Proof :

⇒ In ΔABC

→ DE║BC

→ AD/DB = AE/EC

→ DB/DB = AE/EC

→ 1 = AE/EC

→ EC = AE

E is the mid point of AC
