Given :- A ∆ ABC in which median AD is ⊥ to BC.
To prove :- In ∆ ABC is Isosceles.
Proof :- In ∆ ABD and ∆ ACD
⇏BD = DC
⇏∠ ABD = ∠ADC (Each = 90°)
⇏AD = AD (Common Side)
⇏∆ ABD ≅ ∆ACD
⇏AB = AC [∵CPCT]
AB = AC [∵CPCT]∴ ∆ ABC is an Isosceles triangle. Proved.
