Since o is the midpoint of ab..therefr ao=ob..given that Angle obd = angle oac..and since bod and aoc r vertically opposite angles..therfr bod=aoc..so by asa congruence criterion..triangles aoc and bod are congruent..so ac=bd as corresponding parts of congruent triangles are equal..
