To Prove an equilateral triangle is equiangular:

  • First, construct an equilateral triangle with the same length of sides and mark it as A, B, C.
  • In ΔABC,
  • AB = BC
  • ∠C = ∠A  → (1) (∵ Angles on opposite sides are equal)
  • Now in ΔABC,
  • AB = CA
  • ∠C = ∠B  → (2)  (∵ Angles on opposite sides are equal)
  • From (1) and (2) we get,
  • ∠A = ∠B = ∠C

Hence an equilateral triangles is equiangular.

Hence Proved.
