To prove: Angle a = Angle b + Angle c

Proof:

Angle C = Angle BAD (Alt. interior Angles)

Now, Angle b + Angle BAD = Angle a

(Exterior Angle is equal to the sum of the two opposite interior angles)

=> Angle b+ Angle c = Angle a (Proved)
