Angular momentum, L = mvr

Where m = mass of particle; v = Velocity of particle; r = distance.

Areal Velocity, A = vr/2

Where v = velocity of particle; r = distance.

By subsitituting the value of v from Areal velocity ie.

v = 2A/r

By subsitituting the above value of v in the expression of L, we get

L = m × 2A/r × r = 2mA.

Hence proved.
