Well it's pretty easy first make a rectangle of length anything suppose x and it's breath x-1 then draw a diagonal therefore cutting it into two triangles

2 do the same for the other triangle also add their areas that is you answer

3 now calculate the area of rectangle through 2(l+b)

4 if your answers are matching the you have done it correctly and also proved area of rectangle is equal to sum of area of two Triangles now you can also cut and paste it that's easy
