we know the area area of square is side × side
we also know that square is parallelogram and it's all side are equal ...
so, area of parallelogram =b×h
now , we know that square is also parallelogram but it's all angle are right and sides re equal , therefore
area of square =b×h
=b×b ( all side are equal)
= or side × side !
