Let the total Energy be E
So the Maximum value for potential Energy is E (When kinetic energy is 0)
And the Maximum value for Kinetic Energy is E (When potential energy is 0)
The Avg. P.E=(E+0)/2=E/2
The Avg. K.E=(E+0)/2=E/2
Hence proved
