      cosec²∅ - cot²∅ = 1

   => cosec²∅ = 1 + cot²∅

   => cosec ∅ = √1+cot²∅ [By sqare root both sides]

 we also know,

cot∅ = cos∅ /sin∅ ;

cosec∅ = 1/sin∅ ;

:. cot∅ / cosec ∅ = (cos∅ / sin∅) / (1 / sin∅)  

                               = cos∅  [proved]
