Step-by-step explanation:

multiplying LHS by (1- sin A). #A=theta

cosA (1 - sinA) / (1+sinA)(1-sinA)

= cosA(1-sinA) / 1^2 - sin^2A

= cosA(1-sinA) / 1 - sin^2A

= cosA(1-sinA) / cos^2A

since, 1 - sin^2A = Cos^2A

= 1 - sinA / cosA

= RHS
