Given ABC is a right angled triangle in which angle B =90°
and, AB=AC
BE is perpendicular on AC
So, AEB=CEB=90°
Comparing triangle ABE and CBE
AB=BC[Given]
AEB=CEB=90°
BE=BE[common side]
So,
triangle ABE is congruence triangle CBE
Therefore,
AE=EC[CPCT]
Thus, it is proved that E the mid point of AC.
