consider a body of mass m moving with initial velocity and final velocity let it now be displaced by distance s with a constant force f and acceleration a
work done is f .s
v2 -u2 = 2 as
s = v2 - u2/2 a
substitute in work we get
w = ma. v2-u2/2a
= 1/2 m v2 - u2
when initial velocity is zero
1/2 m v2= K.e
