Prove that f(x) = 1/x-1 is discontinuous at x= 1.

Can you solve 1/0?

It's just that f(x) doesn't have a value at x=1

f(1)=1/0 (Cannot express on co-ordinate)

So f(1) is an empty value

The conclusion is f(x) is discontinuous at x=1
