let us take p=2 and q=3 (prime number)

\sqrt{2} = 1.4142135.......

\sqrt{3}= 1.732050.........

as these numbers goes on and never ends that is non terminating non recurring we can say that \sqrt{2}+\sqrt{3} will be an irrational number
