There's a formula for Gibb's Free energy
That's says,
∆G = ∆H-T*∆S
where,
G is the Gibb's Free energy
H is the enthalpy
T being temperature
and, S is the entropy
Clearly it can be seen that since Temperature is always positive since the temperature has to be written in Kelvin unit
This means the term T∆S will become large with increase in entropy
Therefore, The Free energy will decrease as negative T∆S term increases.
