Explanation:

We know that the formula for acceleration due to gravity is GM/r^2 i.e constant where

M=mass of the earth=6.0×10^24kg

R=radius of the earth =6.4×10^6m

G=universal gravitational constant = 6.67×10^-11Nm^2/kg^2

F=6.67×10^-11×6.0×10^24/(6.4×10^6)^2=9.8 m/s^2

Explanation:

We know that, g=G×M÷R^2

where, g=acceleration due to gravity

G =Universal Gravitational constant (6.67×10^-11)

M =Mass of the earth(6×10^24)

R =Radius of the earth(6.4×10^6)

Therefore, g=6.7×10^-11×6×10^24÷(6.4×10^6)^2

=67×6÷40.96

=402÷40.96

=9.8m/s^2

Hence, Proved g=9.8m/s^2.
