Prove that if a number is doubled then its cube is 8 times the cube of the given
number.

Give proper explanation.​

Let the number be x

Cube of the given number (i) = x³

Now if the number is double = 2 × x = 2x

Cube of the given number (ii) = (2x)³ = 8x³

Hence using i and ii

( ii ) = 8 × ( i )
