let's take an equilateral triangle

in which

angleA=angleB =angleC

produce AC to an exterior angle D

exterior angle= 180°( AC is a straight line so linear =180°)-60°(angleC)

exterior angle=180°-60°=120°

120°=60°(angle A)+60°(angleB)

120°=120°

hence

v can conclude that an exterior angle =sum of two interior opposite sngles
