prove that (if cos theta is equal to 0.6 that 5 sin theta _ 3 tan theta is equal to zero ​

Answer:

cos A = 0.6 = 6/10

cos A =base/hypotenuse = 6/10 

by Pythagoras theorem,

(6)^2 + (height)^2 = (10)^2

height^2 = 100-36

height^2= 64

height = 8

then 

5* sin A = 5* height/hypotenuse = 5*(8/10) = 8/2 = 4 

and 

3* tan A = 3*(height/base)  = 3*(8/6)= 8/2 =4

then,

(5 sin A- 3 tan A) = 0

4-4 = 0

0=0
