Prove that if the diagonals of a parallelogram are perpendicular then it is a rhombus.

according to question :-

diagonal of parallelogram is perpendicular at 90

and we know that the diagonals bisect the parallelogram so it means that the diagonals are also equal.

now let's take an example of a parallelogram ABCD and two diagonals also

so we know that AB = CD because opposite sides of llgm are equal

now diagonals AC = BD

and it bisect it at 90 degree

but since the diagonal bisect each other therefore the sides of parallelogram are all equal

so to prove that this llgm is a rhombus then we have 4 points :-

diagonals bisect each other

diagonals bisect at 90

sides are equal

diagonals are equal

This proves that this parallelogram is a rhombus.
