Here side AC is greater than AB because,
According to Pythagoras theorem
AC² = AB² + BC²
Angle opposite to side AB is angle ACB and for side AC it is ABC which is a right angle I.e., 90°
Angle ACB is smaller than Angle ABC I.e.,<90°
Hence roved that if two sides of a triangle are unequal the greater side has the greater angle opposite to it
