Prove that if x is odd then x² is also odd

let x = 2n + 1 where n is natural number ,
then,

x² = (2n+1)²
=4n² + 4n +1

we can see here x² = 4n² + 4n +1
if we put n = 1 then, x² = 9
n= 2 then, x² = 25
n=3 then , x² = 49
here you can see that any value of n in natural number x² always gain , odd number so ,

we can say that if x is an odd number then x² is also an odd number .
