linear pair of 60° = 180°-60°

= 120°

Now,

both 120° angles are corresponding angles.

Thus line l is parallel to m.

Hence proved

If the given lines are parallel, then corresponding angles should be equal..

In this figure 60° is corresponding angle to supplement of 120° .

supplement of 120° is 60°.

so 60° = 60°( corresponding angles).

Hence, l and m are parallel to each other.
