Take a jar and fill amount of water in it we will observe that the water has taken the shape of jar and had filled it completely.So through this experiment we can observe that liquid has no fixed shape but have fixed volume.
The rate of diffusion of fluid is higher than that of solid because particles of fluid have more space in between them as compared to solid.As other substance particles get easily fixed in between these spaces and the diffusion takes place while in solid particles have no spaces in between them and the rate of diffusion is too slow.
