According to energy conservation theorem
The total energy of the system remains constant.
i.e.
Potential energy + kinetic energy = constant
Now, potential energy = weight * height
Weight = mg
So, potential energy =mgh.
Now, kinetic energy = 1/2mv^2.
So,
Mgh + 1/2mv^2 = constant
Hence, proved.
Hope this will be helping you.
