Let a parallelogram be ABCD.

AngleA = AngleC .........(1)

AngleB = AngleD..........(2)

A + B = 180 (Adjacent angles are supplementary)

.......(3)

C + D = 180(Adjacent angles are supplementary)

.......(4)

From eq. (3) and (4), we have

A + B = C + D = 180

Putting the values of B and D, taking from eq. (1) and (2)

A + D = C + B = 180

So, opposite angles in a parallelogram are supplementary.
