=3+4=p/q(where p,q are integers,q is not equal to 0)

4=3-p\q

4=3q-p\q

Here 3q-p\q is integer so it is a rational number

but it contradicts that 4 is irrational

Hence,our assumption is wrong that 3+4 is rational

therefore, 3+4 is irrational number
