prove that Rs/Rp=n^2 where Rs is the resulatant of n equal resistances in series and Rp is resultant of these n resistance in parllel

As there are equal resistances let the resistance of each resister beR . So if n resistors are connected in series Rs=nR and if the n resi2 connected in parallel combination Rp =R/n so Rs /Rp =nR/R/n =n^2
