prove that ( sec^4 theta -sec^2 theta ) = tan^2 theta + tan ^4 theta​

Answer:

( sec^4 theta -sec^2 theta ) = tan^2 theta + tan ^4 theta)

LHS

= sec²2∅(sec²∅- 1)

= (1+tan²∅(1+tan²∅ - 1))

= tan²∅ + tan⁴∅

LHS = RHS

hence proved
