Now,

L.H.S. = (secA - 1)/(secA + 1)

= (1/cosA - 1)/(1/cosA + 1), since secA = 1/cosA

= {(1 - cosA)/cosA}/{(1 + cosA)/cosA}

= (1 - cosA)/(1 + cosA)

= R.H.S. [Proved]
