L.H.S:-

sin⁴∅-cos⁴∅

= (sin²∅+cos²∅)(sin²∅-cos²∅)

= 1 ( sin²∅-cos²∅)

= sin²∅-cos²∅

R.H.S:-

2sin²∅-1

= 2sin²∅-(sin²∅+cos²∅)

=2sin²∅-sin²∅-cos²∅

=sin²∅-cos²∅

L.H.S=R.H.S [ proved]
