Square root of a=

$\sqrt{a}$

Also provided to prove root 'a' = a^1/2

MULTIPLYING ROOT a

${( \sqrt{a) } }^{2} = a$

MULTIPLYING a^1/2

we get,

(a^1/2)^2 = a

Since, both the results are equal

$\sqrt{a} = {a}^{ \frac{1}{2} }$
