Prove that square root of a is same as a^1/2.​

Solution

Here,

We have,.

Square root of a=

 \sqrt{a}

Also provided to prove root 'a' = a^1/2

MULTIPLYING ROOT a

 {( \sqrt{a) } }^{2}  = a

MULTIPLYING a^1/2

we get,

(a^1/2)^2 = a

Since, both the results are equal

 \sqrt{a}  =  {a}^{ \frac{1}{2} }

Hence Proven
