They can be interconnected by the following process :
FREEZING (Liquid to Solid)
MELTING (Solid to Liquid)
CONDENSATION (Gas to Liquid)
VAPORIZATION (Liquid to Gas)
SUBLIMATION (Solid to Gas & Gas to Solid)
Hence, its proved that the states of matter are interconvertible..
