Draw one of it's diagonals.
Now the quadrilateral is divided into 2 triangles.
Now in triangle ABD
1 + 2 + 3 = 180°
In triangle BCD
4 + 5 + 6 = 180°
So 1+2+3+4+5+6 = 360°
= A + B + C + D = 360°
Hence proved
