Now in a ∆'s AQP and BQP , we have , tan alpha= h/AQ and tan bet a=h/BQ now ,AQ=hcot alpha and BQ= hcot bet a then, AQ +BQ= h(cot alpha + cot bet a) or, AB = h(tan alpha+ tan bet a/ tan alpha ×tan bet a) so, h = (tan alpha ×tan beta /tan alpha+tan bet a) .
