A linear pair is always 180*

If the bisector cuts this linear pair it means it cuts it into two equal angles(value) now if one angle(value) is y then other is also y.

we get the equation:

y+y=180*

2y=180

y-=180/2

y=90*

hence each angle(y) is right angle(90*)
