In triangles AOD and COB,

DAO = BCO (alternate interior angles)

AD = CB.

ADO = CBO (alternate interior angles)

AOD COB (ASA)

Hence, AO = CO and OD = OB (c.p.c.t)

Thus, the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.
