prove that the difference of two sides of a triangle is less than the third side

It is proved by Pythagoras theorem because there are three sides,let them a2,b2and c2 the sum of two sides are less than third side. For example:- a2 is 2 and b2 is 4 find c2 so we solve this question by 2²+4² =so c² =20² so is greater than two sides. this proved that two sides are smaller then third side
