1. Photosynthesis, the process by which green plants and certain other organisms transform light energy into chemical energy. During photosynthesis in green plants, light energy is captured and used to convert water, carbon dioxide, and minerals into oxygen and energy-rich organic compounds.
2. Alcoholmeter is used to determine the volume of alcohol or proof. It is calibrated to the density of pure ethanol and is only to be used on pure, distilled spirits. Hydrometer, on the other hand, is calibrated to the density of water and is used during the pre-fermentation and post-fermentation phase.
