It is not possible....we know that √2 is an irrational number so any rational number reacts with an irrational number will always give the product as irrational.

I know I wrote it some what like chemistry.....

Proof

Here, 1 is rational.

2 is an irrational.

1÷2 = irrational.............(rational ÷ irrational= irrational)

Irrational.
