Given :-

EA = BA

AD = AC

To prove :-

ΔADE ≅ ΔABC

Proof :-

Points which help us to prove that ΔADE ≅ ΔABC are :

1. EA = BA

(Given in the picture)

2. AD = AC

(Given in the picture)

3. ∠EAD = ∠BAC

(Vertically opposite angles)

So, from the above points it can be concluded that

ΔADE ≅ ΔABC

(By SSA Axiom)

Note :-

  • ≅ sign means that two triangles are congruent.

  • SSA Axiom means Side, Side, Angle Axiom.
