Qn. Prove that the intercept of a tangent between the pair of parallel tangents to a circle subtend a right angle at the centre of the circle

InΔ AOB,
∠AOB+ ∠ CAO +∠ CBO = 180° [Angle sum property ]
∠ CAO +∠ CBO = 90°
HENCE,
∠AOB = 180 - [∠ CAO +∠ CBO]
= 180 - 90
= 90 °
