Answer:

the Formula of the Perpend from (0,0)

to first line Is y =-4x

The Coordinates of the intersection is

(7/17,-28/17).the Distance is

ROOT ((49+784)/289)=ROOT (833) / 17=1.7

THE distance From origin to the Second line

y=-x/2

5x/2=-3

so x= -6/5

y=3/5 ( -2,+1)

distance Is = 3 ROOT 5/5=1.4

So First Distance is greater than the Second Distance

because (1.7 is greater than 1.4)
